Savithri Gorakshna Samithi is a non-profit charitable trust devoted to providing shelter and care for young and aged cows in the Chennai metropolis. Established 27 years ago, the organization currently cares for 130 cows and calves, allowing them to graze freely on the organization’s open land and tying them only at night. The Samithi operates under the divine blessings of Sri Sri Chandrashekaraendra Saraswati Maha Periyava.
